As you explore colors, keep in mind that a completely monochromatic room will be boring, earth tones will be inviting and painting a room white to make it appear larger is a myth. - Illumination is one of the most important elements to take into consideration when decorating or designing your rooms. Do you want task lighting as you work on projects, mood lighting to create a romantic ambience or natural lighting to create warmth and cheeriness?

Color Your World Naturally Celebrate Earth Day with Us on April 21
Kids, come learn to appreciate the earth by discovering how rocks and minerals color our world naturally. On April 21 in honor of Earth Day any child (accompanied by an adult) who brings an empty egg carton into our store will receive a free rock or mineral specimen to help start them on their journey into the exciting world of collecting (or add to a collection they've already started). TOT will show a simple way to organize and store a mineral collection. We'll also include a handy information sheet with suggestions on ways to collect, advice on labeling your collection, and a pattern to use to make your own crystal model.
Kids can enter a raffle to receive a gift basket full of goodies to encourage them to continue on their journey into the exciting world of rock and mineral collecting.
We invite parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles to bring your kids over to TOT for this fun and educational event. So, get your kids off the computer and away from the TV. This is a wonderful hobby that parents and kids can enjoy together. It's a terrific way to get exercise and to discover and explore new places while spending time outdoors. Best of all your children will be fascinated and engaged while learning about our earth. You'll enjoy their excitement as they behold a bright shiny rock for the first time or describe the beautiful colors in a crystal or the patterns created by crystal shapes in a mineral. Encourage them and watch their interest in all different areas of science blossom in front of your eyes. We bet you never thought they could find learning to be so much fun!
