Kirk Norlin is a professional photographer from Denver, Colorado. Over the years, he has acquired a fascination with the abstract patterns and designs found in nature, including those found in rocks and minerals. Kirk has mastered using techniques developed over the past couple of decades; digital photography, scanning and printing. Using these techniques he is able to magnify, and capture, with outstanding clarity, the nuances of texture and form found in these different rocks and minerals. All his prints are produced using advanced Giclee ink-jet technology and archival paper and ink pigments.
