Display these historic reproductions of the national parks in your home. They were originally created by The Works Progress Administration (WPA) during the late 1930’s and early 1940’s. Originally distributed to local Chambers of Commerce these posters were for internal marketing and meant to excite and encourage the public to visit our national parks. These images were restored from black and white photos and recreated as serigraphs (a silk-screen like process) – using six to eight colors - depending on the poster and are printed on acid-free 80 lb. paper. Enjoy these stylish posters and yearn for an era when summer vacations meant long road trips with beautiful vistas and grand scenery. The image is approximately 13 1/2" x 19" and the full size is approximately 15" x 20 1/2".
Please note: BryceCanyon, DevilsTower, Hawaii, Mesa Verde, Mt. McKinley, Olympic, Rocky Mountain and Sequoia are newer designs added at the request of the national parks service to blend with the earlier posters.
