This botryodial (rounded formations) malachite is from the Democratic Republic of the Congo (Zaire). It has beautiful color, texture, and shape. The micro-crystals give a sugary coating that makes the surface sparkle. The thin rim of lighter blue chrysacolla creates a nice contrast from the darker green of the malachite.
